Day 3: Fangirl mode on! (Gyeonggi English Village)

Today's itinerary:

We got up an hour late today because we got tired from all the unexpected episodes yesterday. My sister no longer wanted to go to Gyeonggi English Village and instead move on to the places we are scheduled to visit today but I insisted on going there. I wanted to get it right this time around.

First stop: Gyeonggi English Village

From Hoegi, we stopped at the City Hall station and transferred to Hapjeong (Line 2). And rode the bus# 2200 going to Gyeonggi English Village.

Note 1: This bus ride has no English translation. We just trusted that it will stop at English Village. Good thing though there is a map so we just read and follow through it.

파주영어마을 means Paju English Village.

It's an hour and a half ride but the view is relaxing.

A restaurant along the way
This is the bus stop. Just cross the street and it's the village!
Second chances do come to those who insisted it! Welcome to Gyeonggi English Village!

Upon entry, you need to go to the Immigration Office to purchase your ticket. Then, proceed to the Departure area. The setting inside is like boarding a plane. They gave you a passport too! And upon going through the checkpoint, they will stamp your passport with a visa. Sorry I didn't get to take a picture because it's prohibited.

Let's start the tour!

They provide a map too but this time, we don't want to be organized (for the first time). We just moved freely and wander around!

Looks like it snowed yesterday.

Time to go inside!

Now for our main agenda of going here:

This is where Chanyeol and Bakhyun took their selfie with the guard (posted in his IG).

Where Kai filmed for his shot.

Sehun's close up shot. We got the wrong venue, it should be the Concert Hall but it's really cold so we don't bother of going for take two.

We did our best to copy the shots but…this is more like expectation versus reality, guys ㅋㅋㅋ

We took off our jackets for some of the shots (you know that “tiis ganda” thing you do just because) but it’s freezing cold though the sun is shining brightly! Our hands not only turned red, it’s numb too!

So we ran back to the café we saw when we entered here. Our lifesaver and go-to drink here in Korea.

Then we went back just to check some more shots before leaving. And I haven't found the rail yet.

This is the right venue of the MV. Haha

We almost give up looking for the railroad but it's finally here!

When we got back to Hapjeong, we had our lunch first at Maru Donkatsu. You might notice that we’re not doing much food trips. We are both not a big eater and since we are occupied by all of the places we must see, we only eat because we have to. We will surely include food trip in our next visit!
