Day 2: Let's take a stroll and some shopping (Ewha Women's University and Dongdaemun)

Third Stop: Ewha Women's University

From Geumchon station, we transferred to Hongik University and stopped at Ewha Women’s University station (Line 2).

This is not a “major getting lost situation” but we again lost the way going to Ewha though we get to hit the Wedding St.

And now, here’s the Ewha Women’s University:

On the right side before the auditorium, there is a building that looked like a staircase.
This is ECC (Ewha Campus Complex). It was designed by French architect Dominique Perrault
and was built in 2008. It has commercial facilities such as theater, fitness center, restaurants, bank,
reading rooms for students, and lecture rooms.

Ewha is currently the world's largest female educational institute and is one of the most prestigious universities in South Korea.

Main auditorium and Ewha park
At the entrance, there is a wall embossed with pear flowers, the symbol of the university.
Unfortunately we were not able to take pictures of the shops and all other things to buy in Ewha but you’ll surely love shopping here! We bought 3 clothes for KRW 30,000 and boots for KRW 35,000 and KRW 25,000 (we wore it the next day)

Egg tart!
When we're looking around, we saw Line store. They're so adorable we can't just pass by, right?

And most importantly, Chanyeol took a photo of Sehun here before and uploaded it in his Instagram!

Fan art credit to @exokmchibi and Sehun to Yeol's IG update.

So the goal is to copy the fan art where Sehun's head seems to be engulfed by the bear's mouth instead of Sehun's pose in the middle but my sissy is a little bit short for it (about one foot).

After shopping, we want back to our house. But since we feel it’s still early, we decided to go to Dongdaemun where there are many wholesale shops. Unfortunately, we were not able to find them and some were closed already. We just bought smoke masks.

Though we get to see the Dongdaemun gate.

Bung-eo bbang is the red bean bun shaped like a fish.
Junmyeon jokingly said he eat the belly first.
Ohdeng is our favorite K-street food. We buy it almost every night.
It is a perfect comfort food for the cold weather and drinking it's soup makes you feel warmer.
That's it for today. The pain due to non-stop walking and "getting lost" is already wearing us.

Note 2: You must download their subway app so you can easily check the lines you have to take to reach your destination. It also shows the travelling time and the line transfers, should you need to. You will also get to easily plan which is the better way to take, especially when you get lost. You might want to check out this separate guide on the Seoul subway.

Note 3: Pack those skin moisturizers!
