Day 2: Let's take a stroll and some shopping (Paju Province)

Second stop: Gyeonggi English Village (that turned out to be Paju province only)

From Gwanghwamun (Line 5), we stopped at Gong deok and transferred to Jungang line. The ride is about 1 hour and a half. But we enjoyed the ride since you’ll get to see beauty of nature and the ways of life in the province.

Note 1: This is one of the farthest places from Seoul.

When we finally arrived at Paju and was about to get out of the station, we had the feeling that “Hey! It doesn’t feel right”. It’s like those scenes in K-dramas and anime wherein a cold wind suddenly blows, accompanied with dried leaves.

So we decided to ask around and we saw a business man standing near the exit door. We were hesitating at first but then we tried our luck and he seemed to understand us (us using our Intermediate-but-now-Basic Korean language) but he was not familiar to the place we’re heading to so he introduced us to the staff in the train station. The old man was very kind and explained to us that we are two stations ahead of Gyeonggi.

So we went back to Geumchon but we still doesn’t feel it is right this time.

We decided to have our lunch first (it’s already 2pm!) and plan our next move. Then I realized that I just followed what my sister noted in the 2nd final version of our itinerary. What I noted before was we just need to stop at Hapjeong station and take the bus.

Our delicious meal that got our brain cracking for Plan B.

After an hour of eating and discussing and calculating, we decided to go back to Seoul and went to Ewha Women’s University instead.

So this is the second time we got lost. Wait for the third one! ㅋㅋㅋ

Because of this, we were not able to go to Joeun Sesang (restaurant of Chanyeol’s father), Kamong (café of Kai’s sister) and Seonyudo Park where Suho was not able to think properly because of Kai’s dogs. We’ll see you next season!

We thought we’ve got everything planned out (we’re both perfectionist) but we still got lost. Anyway, that’s the wonder of travelling.
